Manager Plant Services

General Description:  The Manager- Plant Services main role is to lead the Maintenance and Utilities Teams for proper maintenance/repair of the site equipment and facilities, along with providing adequate utilities for continuous operations. Maintenance Activities Provide sound repair and reliability solutions related to all site activities requiring maintenance support, including consideration for safety and environmental concerns, ensuring the solutions are addressed through effective, low cost repair and/or preventive measures. Coordinate development and submittal of the Rolling Forecast for Maintenance activities Consult w/ Reliability Engineer, Maintenance Planner & other members of the Maintenance Team to resolve daily repair and operating issues at the site. Provide administration and oversight of the CMMS program and all related components (i.e. - Parts Inventory/Mgmt., Tool Storage/Dist., Purchasing/Requisition activities, etc...). Plant Services Activities Guide and support the daily functions of the Utilities Team, to ensure a continuous supply of utilities (i.e. - gas, steam, nitrogen, water, etc...) Coordinate development and submittal of the Rolling Forecast for Utilities/Facilities cost Departmental Duties Develop strategic relations and earn the respect and confidence of vendors, contractors and members of the plant community, in order to help enhance SI Group's reputation as a reliable company. Implement and follow SI Group's ISO Quality programs, policies and procedures outlined by the Standard and manage the department to meet the requirements of ISO Quality programs. Practice Responsible Care Management through active participation and adherence to the Guiding Principles of the Responsible Care Management System and contribute to the sustainability of the OSHA VPP Program by continuing to uphold the principles demonstrated as a STAR site People Leadership Maintain a productive team environment for all members of the Maintenance and Plant Services Teams, to encourage self-direction and motivation. Provide a climate conducive to developing a closely knit organization which will, both individually or as a group, freely discuss plans and problems and receive advice and counsel without being relieved of their decision-making responsibilities. Provide talent management for technical employees for individual career satisfaction and internal succession planning. Develop constructive relations and earn the respect and confidence of employees, site/departmental managers and other corporate and affiliate locations w/in SI Group. Any additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director - Texas Operations   Qualifications  Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or technically related field of study. Minimum five (5) years' experience in a maintenance or utilities related position.  Supervisory or management experience is preferred. Intermittent Travel Required Must be available 24/7 for call or consultation on plant emergencies. Software Skills: Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TrainingMine, Maintenance Connection (CMMS), ROSS Specific Functional Competencies: Maintain the Texas Operations facility with the mindset of Operational Excellence and continual improvement. Exhibit Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information effectively. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
